Some cool science...

On Friday we made some really cool patterns in milk with food colouring and washing up liquid. Here is a video of exactly what we did. It's an easy one to try at home. If you do, please leave a comment below to tell us how it went!

We loved making the colours move with our cotton bud. The soap on the end of it was really powerful, making the fat in the milk stick together. We thought that it looked a bit like the colours you get in a marble, or perhaps like Earth looks from space. Give it a go!
