We had a fantastic end to week 5 in Team Rua! This morning we had a whole school assembly. Team Tahi performed a hilarious story of the Three Little Pigs, and entertained us with their singing. Well done Team Tahi! Delilah got her Welcome to Mahora book from Miss T. We love having Delilah in our class!
This week we've been reading heaps of Julia Donaldson books. Our favourite has been The Gruffalo. What a great character he is-- with his knobbly knees, a wart on his nose, claws on his feet, and purple prickles on his back! We decided to make a Gruffalo.
First we had to paint him with brown paint. We tried to make the paint look like fur by tapping our paint brushes and using cotton buds.
Then, we had to add all the things that make him a Gruffalo!
