 Chewbacca, an 8 week old puppy came to visit us today and we were so happy.

Week 5. Triathlon. Bar Model Maths. Brain Break.

 Waiting patiently to start the Triathlon by swimming 4 lengths of the small pool. The children had a great time and gave it a go. High Five Team Rua.

We are getting better at working out a problem at Maths time by using Bar Models.

Whanau / Family Night.

Team Rua had a great Whanau Night at school last night. We love the jumping castle and the sausage sizzle.

 Thinking about how I can make my name, twice as tall using the same number of match sticks.

 Matchsticks Maths. We wrote our names using 50 or 30 matchsticks.  We gathered data e.g. who has an "a" in their name.

 Matchsticks Maths. This week we will be make a number sentence using the number of match sticks in our name.

 Tuakana Teina with the Haere Hub. Team Rua buddied up with a person fro the Haere Hub and started a Title page of a book using Book Creator. Thank you for being a great buddy to us.
