Team Rua are painting the giant Redwoods they saw on their trip at Te Mata Peak.

Tuakana-Teina with Room 9

Last Friday we met up with our buddy Class Room 9.  

To get to know each other we decided to build volcanoes in the sandpit and see if we could make them explode with vinegar and baking soda.

The children worked together and enjoyed making new connections.

Thanks Room 9 we look forward to our next time.

The Slinky Malinki's

The Slinky Malinki's Reading group today read the book the Mum.  We learnt the first sound, letter name and the word.

Tamariki, I hope you went home and told your Mum you learnt to read and write the word today!!!

Rosa and Ted's Weekend

Rosa enjoyed sharing Ted's Travels with her friends today.  Rosa had taken Ted to Animates where he had been weighed.  This created great conversations about weight and how to measure.  Team Rua are going to do some learning around this.  Thanks Ted and Rosa for helping us with our learning.

Cookie and Teds Sleepover

Ted is loving going home with the tamariki of Team Rua.  He had a fabulous stay at Cookie's home and shared some lovely experiences with Cookie and his family.  Thank you for being a wonderful host Cookie.
