Fun in the Leaves

Team Rua this week have been writing about Autumn Leaves!  To motivate and engage the children with the topic we went and had some fun in the leaves.

We had lots of fun of making piles, hiding and jumping in the leaves.

Jamie and Ted's Adventure

Last night Ted headed home with Jamie.  They went in a Rally car, Ted and Jamie practised miniball and Ted tried out a cot.

The children are certainly eager to hear and see what Ted gets up to!  Thank you to parents/grandparents and whanau for supporting Ted's adventures.

News Sharing in Team Rua

Today we had lots of interesting topics for news today.  The children are learning to speak to an audience, give details, speak in an appropriate volume and answer questions.

Team Rua and Team Tahi Singing

This afternoon Team Rua and Team Tahi had the pleasure of Mrs Pearse and her ukulele for singing.  We enjoyed singing some old songs and learning our assembly songs.  Thank you Mrs Pearse.

WOW - Term 2

It was fantastic to see all the children back at school today and eager to learn.

The egg has caused lots of conversation, fascination and has been observed closely all day!  The children have told me that the egg has been moving and will hatch soon!  I wonder what their predictions will be.  Keep an eye out on the blog for their predictions.

The children have made a dinosaur print.  The children used play dough and stamped their dinosaur in the play dough and then filled it with plaster of paris.  We are patiently waiting for them to set.
