Assembly
Room 2 were SUPERSTARS at assembly on Friday. Room 2 had to present to the whole school. We shared our art we did with Rei Hendry, story writing about what we liked about Mahora School and then an iMovie about our first 100 days.
I was very proud of all the children they were amazing. They showed great "courage" to speak in front of the whole school.
Congratulations also to Nasoni and Lochlyn who were presented with their Teddy Bear Certificates. Well done boys!

Teddy Bears Picnic
Today all of Team 1 went to Cornwall Park to have a Teddy Bears Picnic. We had an absolutely fantastic day. It was a beautiful sunny Hawkes Bay day to spend at the park discovering all the treasures. We explored the Chinese Garden, the Hothouse, Bird Aviaries, the playground and the pond. We saw baby ducklings, turtles, goldfish and lots of plants and trees.
We had a fabulous time!
A BIG THANK YOU to all the wonderful parents and whanau that came along and helped.

Balloon Fun
Room 2 and Room 1 were lucky to receive the balloons from the final Colour My World show. We had lots of fun with all the colourful balloons!
Bye Zedekiah
Today Room 2 and 1 said goodbye to our friend Zedekiah. We had a shared lunch with Zedekiah and gave him a signed rugby ball by all of us so he remembers his Mahora friends.
We wish you all the best in your new city and school - we will miss you, Zedekiah.
