Arataki Honey Farm

Last Tuesday, Room 2 excitedly buzzed out to Arataki Honey Farm.  We took the bus to Havelock North - which was also a highlight of the trip!

Liz our host, took us on an exploration of the visitor centre and shared lots of exciting information with us.

We really enjoyed looking through the microscope, dressing up and feeling our warm the glass was because the bees were working really hard!

Letter P

Today, we learnt the letter p name and sound.

Our phonics poem was:

Pink party pig p p p,
Pink party pig p p p,
Pink party pig p p p,
Down from the top and up and around.

At Assembly on Friday we celebrated Lilla and Jayden successfully completing their Teddy Bear Sight Words!  Piki Haere - Keep on Climbing!

Whiteboard Writing

Room 2 did writing on our whiteboards today.  We did a fantastic job of using some of our sight words in a sentence.

Graduation

Hineawe, Nasoni and Lincoln have been working really hard at learning to ride without their training wheels - and they have succeeded! Tino pai!
